 Hey hey everybody!! Hope yall are having the BEST day! 


This week was a little interesting at first to be honest. We kept having really good first conversations with people while street contacting, and then they would disappear and we would never see them again. It was crazy! It happened back to back like 7 or 8 times. I'm not even kidding, I would look away for a second and they would be gone. 

We walked away after one and I just said to my companions, "maybe we just need to learn that we only have one shot so we need to make it count" a few minutes later she walked by us again and we were able to give her a pamphlet with our information! Right when I saw her I felt the spirit whisper that this is not a one shot gospel. Jesus teaches second chances. And third. And fourth. And as many as we need, as long as we are trying. 

That has brought me so much peace!! To know that when my heart is in the right place God really can work with that. Even if I miss the first chance, He can give me another! 

I got to talk with Sister Humphreys, one of my cute past companions, and we caught up about what we have learned over the last few months. We talked about the Atonement, and how it really has the ability to heal!! To take things that once were broken and to make them whole. That power is so real. It's not just some vague concept, it is reality! 

I know that by Jesus Christ's Atonement, ANYTHING is possible. Relationships can heal, people can change, hope can be found- whatever the circumstance might be. His love and His forgiveness are perfect. I'm grateful I have been able to learn that lesson on my mission :)

I love you all and I hope you can feel the power of Christ's Atonement in your life this week! Pick one hard thing and make a plan to let Jesus into that problem- as you do I promise you will have more Jesus type love in your life. And that kind of love is what brings true happiness. It's real yall :)

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end.   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
