 Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week!


This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :)

With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle!

I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.

I learned something about doing things cheerfully this week. I had this scripture come to me on one of our rougher days (all our lessons canceled and the family we were teaching dropped us...) It's Joseph Smith speaking to the saints from Liberty Jail-

"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed." (D&C 123:17)

Whatever hard thing we're facing, it's really not that deep. And it's DEFINITELY not deeper than what the Savior faced! Yet He lived His life with so much joy! And because of His sacrifice and His example we can do the same :) we don't have to be miserable, we can be happy!

Simplicity is such a gift! No matter how complex and confusing and dark and discouraging life may feel- the joyful truth is that Christ will prevail! We know who will win. We know the ending. Sometimes the middle feels a little scary, but just skip ahead a little and remember that Heavenly Father has this thing all under control :) 

So right now you can trust and be happy in it. I promise it all works out in the end.

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time. HI I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY! March 21, 2022

  Hey everyone! Fun fact, this is the third weekly email I have written today, and every single one of them has deleted. So if this one doesn't work I'm giving up, hahaha. But this week has been super good! We got to do a lot of knocking, with varying levels of success. The ones that don't work out are usually pretty exciting, though! We had a fully nude man come to the door and say "I'm neked! Fixin to take a bath! Come back later." It might be a little awkward to come back another time, but hey! I can be awkward for Jesus :) We met some other people while knocking who were SUPER interested! One lady had actually read the Book of Mormon before and she LOVED it! She literally jumped for joy, hahaha. Her and her sister came to church with us yesterday and it was an absolute party!! They brought a 2 year old with them, and there are definitely not that many kids in our branch... so people weren't quite sure how to respond to a little boy running up and down ...
