Hi everyone!! Let me sum up the MTC real fast: I broke a couple of records, one for the most sit ups in a row for sisters and one for the most amount of tears cried in a week! 1,056. You decide if that was sit ups or tears :) Also, shout out to Sister Charlton for distracting me with her Irish Jig and skittles both through the sit ups and the tears. And Sister Taylor and Sister Slade for doing sit ups with me. As Elder Olsen said, "There's Satan in those lunch lines. And in the food." So I'm excited for West Virginia food! Also, if you didn't know, Moses is my homeboy. Love that guy. I'll write again soon! (ish) Xoxo, Gospel Girl (@Houston) Oh and here's pictures! 1- one of my records 2- the temple!! 3- the Sister bros!! 4- me and Sister Charlton 5- me and Hermana Leinengar! (Who I went to high school with!)

Dear Parents, We are so happy to see your missionary arrive safely in West Virginia! We look forward to getting to know them and we are thrilled to have them as part of the West Virginia Charleston Mission! They had dinner and then they got settled here in Charleston for the night. In the morning, they will have a brief orientation and then they will meet their new companion and go to their new area. We appreciate your love, encouragement and support as they get adjusted to their mission. Thanks for all you do! Love, President and Sister Newman❤️

Emma Started the Home MTC on October 4th 2021. It was nice to get to see her as a missionary for 10 days. I was glad we got to spend sometime with her while she was still home. She entered the MTC on October 13th. Her companion was Sister Slade. She loved her MTC experince and made some lasting friendships and learned to be patient and forgiving of others. She was excited to get to West Virgina and start sharing the gospel.
