 Oh my goodness hello all you amazing people!! Agh, I just love you all so much :) I can't say it enough!


Today we went on a nice little run and this old man stopped us and talked for a while... then he proceeded to follow us on his bike- bashing the church, trying to tear down our faith and everything we believe. So that was an odd workout!!

I realize it's not everyday we are chased down by old men and forced to stand by our beliefs, but the principle is the same: When people tear you down it does not feel good. It just doesn't :/

So that is where we get the responsibility to BE A BUILDER!! This life is hard enough, we don't need anyone else tearing down. Mortality has that covered. We get to follow Jesus Christ and focus on lifting people back up :)

Sometimes it's easy to feel like we are justified in tearing others down, especially when they tear us down first. But I know that will never make you happy. It's never made me happy!

Building others up will ALWAYS bring us joy, and it will always bring us closer to Jesus Christ :) Try it this week!

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time.   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey everyone! Fun fact, this is the third weekly email I have written today, and every single one of them has deleted. So if this one doesn't work I'm giving up, hahaha. But this week has been super good! We got to do a lot of knocking, with varying levels of success. The ones that don't work out are usually pretty exciting, though! We had a fully nude man come to the door and say "I'm neked! Fixin to take a bath! Come back later." It might be a little awkward to come back another time, but hey! I can be awkward for Jesus :) We met some other people while knocking who were SUPER interested! One lady had actually read the Book of Mormon before and she LOVED it! She literally jumped for joy, hahaha. Her and her sister came to church with us yesterday and it was an absolute party!! They brought a 2 year old with them, and there are definitely not that many kids in our branch... so people weren't quite sure how to respond to a little boy running up and down ...
