 HELLO AMAZING PEOPLE! How are yall doing?? Agh I just hope that life is treating you so well :)


This week has been exciting for sure! Just so many good moments and exciting things- we got to drive on the Martinsville Speedway (SO FUN), I sat on a bee, we went to some festivals, dealt with an awful spider that keeps making webs all across our front door, and met a guy who pretended to be the cookie monster then tried to bite my companion's hand off. So looking back on it I guess it was a pretty typical week.

You know what I learned this week?? Never EVER complain about not having enough time.

Earlier this week we were looking at our to do list and I just thought- there is no way. NO WAY we could get it all done! You know what happened right after that?? Literally back to back we received calls asking us to teach the District Council Lesson, speak at church on Sunday, and run the new mission facebook page (the previous six are being combined into one with us and another set of missionaries in charge) So our list went from long to impossible.

And the craziest thing happened- we did it! And then we accomplished some more :) I just realized that God can do His work, we just need to do our best. And then, like Brother Mann says, DO MORE!

We've been talking to our ward a lot lately about missionary work! I think one thing that holds us back from sharing the gospel is feeling like we don't have enough time. As I was thinking about that, this quote stuck out to me! "God always keeps His promises. The only variable is whether we have the faith to commit, obey, and expect miracles." 

God doesn't need all your time, He needs all your heart. If you give it to Him, He can work with all the other details on your to do list. And then He can work some really amazing miracles that I PROMISE you don't want to miss out on :) 

If you're not being a missionary right now- start! You don't need to be perfect, just try and then keep on trying. The work never stops, and I'm so glad because this work brings the GREATEST joy!! I just want all of you to feel that as well :) 

So don't miss this work!! Get excited! There are so many good things to come :)

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time. In the last year I have learned so much about Jesus Christ- I've learned things I wouldn't have learned any other way. There is nowhere else I would rather be right now.   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
