 HI EVERYONE!! Happy August! 


This week has been just amazing, seriously. I can't put it into words. I have seen so many miracles and so many tender mercies, I am just blown away by the goodness of God.

But one stand out story was getting our friends a ride to church! 

We had tried EVERYONE- and nobody could take them. We worked all day long and asked every single person we could think of, pretty much the entire Martinsville Ward. No luck.

By the end of the day on Saturday I just felt defeated. We had some friends that wanted to come to church, but we couldn't help them! I was just so sad! So we prayed and prayed and I just felt like maybe we should ask their son... who I happened to be friends with on Facebook! So I texted him! AND... he didn't answer. Big letdown. 

I felt like I had done EVERYTHING in my power, and now it was up to God. I decided go turn it over to Him.

We said one last prayer before heading to bed, and right as my companion said "amen", we got a text. THEIR SON SAID HE COULD DRIVE THEM!!! It was right at 10:29pm, the most last minute ride I have ever found. But I kid you not when I say I literally jumped for joy. That was the best feeling! GOD HAD COME THROUGH! In a time where I literally couldn't do anything else :)

I just know that God's power is real. Even though they ended up sleeping in and not coming to church... I know it was a miracle and a tender mercy that we were able to find them a ride! Sometimes the miracles we see don't go exactly the way we want them to... but that doesn't make them less of a miracle! I'm working on noticing God's hand in my life, regardless of the final result.

This week when I tried to narrow down what I've learned for this email, I realized I was putting God in a box and trying to make Him fit into my perfect paragraph.

But God has encompassed all that I have ever needed and will ever need Him to be! My Jesus is limitless, and I don't want to put Him in a box anymore :) I know He can work miracles, but then it's up to my agency if I will accept them. That goes for you as well! Will you put limits on what God can do in your story?? You decide :)

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time. In the last year I have learned so much about Jesus Christ- I've learned things I wouldn't have learned any other way. There is nowhere else I would rather be right now. But I don't want to give Jesus Christ just 18 months, I want to give Him my life!!   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
