Can I tell you a miracle from this week?? Yeah? Ok, great.

I've been trying this new thing lately to help me stay focused in my prayers. Before I start to pray I write down all the things I want to talk to Heavenly Father about. 

One night I just felt like I needed so many things! I wrote a page long list of all the things I needed from God, but then I had the strongest feeling that I should say a grattitude prayer instead. So I did :)

Let me tell you, it was really hard to take my list of needs and find the grattitude in them, but after a minute I started to realize that God has given me so much more than I could ever think to ask for! He was all over my "I need" list, even when I didn't notice it. There were miracles happening all around me and I just needed to take a second to open my eyes and see them :)

I read in Mormon 9 this week, where Moroni testifies of a God of Miracles. Verse 17 really stuck out to me: "Who shall say that it was not a miracle that by his word the heaven and the earth should be; and by the power of his word man was created of the dust of the earth; and by the power of his word have miracles been wrought?" 

I just loved this verse. "Who shall say that it was not a miracle"- my new favorite line! I'm going to be quoting it to myself everyday :) I know that God is working. He is a God of Miracles, and you can see His greatest miracle everyday when you look in the mirror! Sometimes I forget that the mere fact that we exist is a miracle, but it absolutely is! Isn't it amazing?

Ok, one more quote... "You can't begin to imagine anything greater than what already is... More phenomenal than resurrection is birth... More amazing than raising the dead is that we live at all... How can you believe in extraordinary things such as angels and gold plates and your divine potential? Easy. Just look around and believe." (-Lawrence E. Corbridge, "Stand Forever")

There is so much extraordinary in the things we deem to be ordinary. When you notice and thank Heavenly Father for those things, I know that you will have more happiness in your life.

Try it this week! Prove me wrong :)

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time.   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
