God wants you to talk to Him :) JUNE 6, 2022

Ok yall, this email is going to be WACK
I'm currently writing this from the ER, haha. Let me catch you up:

This weekend we got into a car accident by trying to miss a deer and instead hitting a tree, then a family of firefighters passed by and let us chill with their puppy while we waited on the tow truck. 

We were picked up and went to a parade where we rode in a float with a bunch of striking steel workers, who all found out about our car accident because it had blown up all over Facebook. (It's a very small town.) It's ok though, a little girl gave me candy because she felt bad for us :) 

And if that isn't enough for you, a baby bird fell out of a tree right in front of me and broke its neck. 

And this all happened in one day, before noon. If you told me this was a dream I would believe you. 

And that is how I ended up in the ER! I get to wait here and find out if I have a concussion, woop woop!! 

But even though this week has been absolutely CRAZY, I have been blown away with how much peace I have felt through it! You know how?? PRAYER! Did you know how amazing prayer was?? I didn't!

I don't think God wants us to pray for His sake, but for ours!! 

Prayer has helped me be more aware of the Lord's hand in my life :) for example- the tree we hit stopped us from rolling down the drop off, if we would've wrecked a little further up we would have gone off a cliff, we didn't hit any of the runners up the road, and we crashed in the ONE PLACE that had cell service. Don't tell me the Lord's hand wasn't in that. I know it's in your story too, just look for it!

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time. In the last year I have learned so much about Jesus Christ- I've learned things I wouldn't have learned any other way. There is nowhere else I would rather be right now.   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard.   Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
