 HAPPY 2022 GUYS! 


This one won't be super long, haha, but here we go!

Here's the highlights from this week:

•I got hugged by a drunk man in a gas station parking lot (yes, I still tried to schedule a lesson with him after that)
•I talked with an atheist who told me to "surrender to the darkness" we reminded him that the light always wins :)
•we spent some time tracking one of the people we are teaching down in a Walmart parking lot. We were not successful. 

Other updates on our friend Mary Jo!

• her baptism is pushed to the 16th, which she's a little sad about :( but it will be good!
• she LOVES the Book of Moses! In Sunday School she leaned over to me and said, " I KNEW there had to be a Book of Moses! Everyone was hiding that from me!"
• she saw a sign about cleaning the church, and she is so excited to sign up! Her second time at church and she is already taking on ward responsibility, haha. 
• she commented on my post about miracles, "the miracle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latted Day Saints" it was SO CUTE

Guys, she's just so awesome. I hope you all have a Mary Jo in your life :) and I want you all to meet my Mary Jo! 

It's just so crazy to me, there are people out there that are seeking the blessings of the gospel, and they just haven't found it yet! We really need to shine our lights so people know where to find it! Shine it for the Mary Jo's out there, because they are there :)

I just realized I was AWFUL at taking pictures this week, haha. I'll do better next week! Love yall!

 All our boxes from Christmas because we can only take our trash out once a week, haha

 No one noticed when we switched tags, haha. I think they only know us as "the sisters"

  HI EVERYONE!!  This week was super good, other than the two times we got flashed :/ But it's okay, our neighbor has curtains now! But you wanna hear something crazy?? I was set apart as a missionary exactly one year ago today. That blows my mind. It has been the shortest, craziest, hardest, longest, best year of my life. And I never want it to end. I can't even begin to describe the joy I have found in serving my Savior over the last year. I'm so grateful for the change that has come in this time. In the last year I have learned so much about Jesus Christ- I've learned things I wouldn't have learned any other way. There is nowhere else I would rather be right now. But I don't want to give Jesus Christ just 18 months, I want to give Him my life!! We're not just looking to be good missionaries, good disciples for a limited time, we're seeking LASTING DISCIPLESHIP here!   Hey hey party people! Hope you had another amazing week! This week we did a lot of knocking! And one day the craziest thing happened... we looked back and saw a lady going door to door, warning all of her neighbors not to listen to us. It was crazy! I realized how hard Satan is working to oppose this work! But I also know that God is working harder :) With all the rejection in our finding, we've also seen some amazing miracles! We met a guy this week who was SO prepared for the gospel! He was raised in a very strong faith, but he doesn't have a Christian background. What we taught him about the Book of Mormon opened his mind to Jesus Christ and it was so amazing! I'm so thankful God let me see that miracle! I've felt a LOT of opposition in this area, but I've also seen some amazing miracles. I've felt strength beyond my own pushing me forward when it's hard. I learned something about doing things cheerfully this week. I had this scripture come to me on one...

  Hey yall!! Hope you're having an AMAZING day so far! And if it's not amazing yet then I hope you go change that :) You guys wanna know what my weekly goal was this week?? To FAIL!  And before you think I'm just giving up, hear me out real quick- I don't want to be controlled by a fear of failure!! I want to go forward with faith! And I want to ALWAYS try- even if I fail the first couple times :) And yall, I did so good at this goal! The week was full of MANY fails, hahaha. But for real, as soon as I accepted that failure was a part of living I became so much more excited to try new things and to stretch myself! So that's been a party :) And I learned something about failure and success last pday- we went hiking through a cave! And that is the first time I really experienced true darkness. The whole time into the cave all I could think about was how much further we were getting from the light... and how hard it would be to get out. Seriously yall, it was an intense...
